According to "The Indian Express", Kohli has arrived in Mumbai to seek Tendulkar's help on batting.
Kohli had a forgettable England tour recently where he failed with the bat. Following this poor trip to Old Blighty, Kohli got in touch with Tendulkar for help and the Master Blaster obliged. It is worth recalling that Kohli had carried Tendulkar on his shoulders after India won the World Cup at the Wankhede Stadium on April 2, 2011.
On Thursday (September 18), Kohli had a session with Tendulkar at Mumbai's MCA-BKC Indoor Academy. Also present were Yuvraj Singh and former Test player Lalchand Rajput. The 25-year-old right-hander will be at the Academy for few more days.
"Virat had a session with me and Sachin, and he'll be practising at the academy for a few more days," Rajput was quoted as saying by the newspaper.
On Wednesday (September 17), Tendulkar had interacted with another youngster, Ajinkya Rahane in the presence of Mumbai coach and former Test batsman Pravin Amre.
Before the England ODIs, Suresh Raina too had been helped by Tendulkar. Raina had thanked Tendulkar after scoring a century in England.
"After all the work I had put into my game in Mumbai with Sachin paaji and Amre sir, I was determined to join the team and bring them some happiness, whether it is by scoring a hundred or taking a brilliant catch. I had to bring the smiles back on my teammates' faces. I am glad I could do that," Raina had said.
