Cuttack, Nov 3: For the 20th time, India posted a total in excess of 350 in One Day Internationals during the series opener against Sri Lanka on Sunday (November 2).

At the Barabati Stadium, India, with centuries from their openers Shikhar Dhawan and Ajinkya Rahane, posted 363/5 in 50 overs. After this huge score, the bowlers skittled the visitors out for 194 for a 169-run victory in the five-match series opener.

Whenever India have scored 350 plus, they have gone on to win. Of the 20 instances, they breached 350-run mark 18 times batting first. In the other two, India were chasing 360 and 351 (both against Australia) where they succeeded.

India's highest ever ODI score is 418/5, against West Indies, in Indore in 2011. The match in which Virender Sehwag smashed a world record 219.
