Sachin Tendulkar releases his autobiography 'Playing It My Way'

Mumbai, Nov 5: The wait is over. Sachin Tendulkar today officially released his autobiography "Playing It My Way" here in the presence of several former cricketers. (Buy the book here)

Excerpts from the book; Sachin Interview

It was an evening to remember for many as Tendulkar looked back at his cricket career and life in the company of his wife Anjali, daughter Sara, former team-mates Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman and also Sunil Gavaskar, Ravi Shastri.

Tendulkar releases his autobiography

"It took me three years to write this book. It was a mega effort. Last 8 months were really taxing. I would like to thank those who helped me put this book together," Tendulkar said.

Also present on the occasion was Tendulkar's first coach Ramakant Achrekar, brother Ajit, former India captain Dilip Vengsarkar and others. After unveiling his book, Tendulkar presented a copy to his coach.

Earlier in the day, Tendulkar had given the first copy to his mother Rajni.

Dravid, Ganguly, Laxman recalled their playing days with the Master Blaster. Gavaskar spoke about the time when he first saw a young Tendulkar in Mumbai.
