Dream Team Contest
Rules of thatscricket.com's dream team contest
To be eligible for the Dream team contest, the team must comply with the
following rules:
Team Composition: When selecting your dream team of 11 players, it must contain the
following:
- A minimum of 5 and a maximum of 6 players from each team
- 5 batsmen , 1 wicket-keeper and 5 bowlers
- 1 captain and 1 vice-captain
Points Scoring: Each of your selected players earn points as follows
- 1 point - for every run scored
- 5 points - for every catch , stumping or run out effected
- 10 points - for every wicket taken
- triple points - for the captain selected
- double points - for the vice captain selected
Points earned in all games (including incomplete, cancelled and replayed
games, and notwithstanding any permitted changes to your team) will be
included in the final points tally.
if you add a player to your team after the Series begins (and before the
closing date and time), any points earned by that player up until that
point will be included in your final points tally, but any points earned
by the player you drop from your team will not.
Rankings are updated once the competition is closed to new entries, and
then after each match in the competition. Bear with us if the update
does not take place immediately at the end of each match.
