West Indian wicket-keeper Junior Murray accomplished a rare feat when he held his counterpart Ajay Ratra's catch on the 3rd day (21.04.2002) of the 2nd Test between India and West Indies at Port of Spain.

It provided him with the 100th dismissal in Tests. This was his 31st Test as wicket- keeper. He has actually appeared in 33 Tests so far including two Tests against South Africa in which he did not keep wickets.

This tally does not include the one catch he had taken as a fielder in that series. For Murray this came as some consolation as he had failed to open his account for the third time in four innings.

Murray is only the 4th West Indian wicket-keeper to accomplish the feat of 100 dismissals which includes 97 catches and 3 stumpings. The other West Indians to have achieved this feat are Deryk Murray, Jeff Dujon and Ridley Jacobs.
