Indians take a well-earned break from cricket

Pretoria: Having made a comfortable entry into the Super Six stage of the World Cup, a relaxed Indians took their second successive off day on Monday and enjoyed themselves in the scenic South African capital.

While a few of the players went for a river cruise in Johannesburg arranged by Anil Kumble, others, including Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Ashish Nehra and Yuvraj Singh went shopping.

The Indians are flying to Cape Town on Tuesday morning where they would meet the second qualifier from pool ‘B’ in a day-night fixture at Newlands on March 7.

India's two other games in the Super Six round are scheduled in Wanderers, Johannesburg on March 10 and Centurion Park, Pretoria on March 14.

India finished its league engagements with five wins out of six games to take the second spot behind Australia which remained unbeaten in its six league games.
