Rain delays Bulawayo start, dampens Pakistan's hopes
Tuesday, March 4 2003 13:27 Hrs (IST)

Bulawayo (Zimbabwe): Heavy rain delayed the start of the crucial World Cup Group 'A' match between Zimbabwe and Pakistan at the Queens Sports Club on Tuesday.

Pakistan needs a big win to make it through to the Super Sixes. However, if it wins the game but fails to boost its run rate then England will make it through.

If no play is possible then the two teams will be awarded two points each and that will be enough to put Zimbabwe through at the expense of both Pakistan and England.
