Ganguly elects to bat on winning toss against Holland

Paarl (South Africa): Indian skipper Saurav Ganguly won the toss and elected to bat in the opening World Cup Group 'A' league match against Holland on Wednesday.

Teams: India: Saurav Ganguly (captain), Rahul Dravid, Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Kumble, Harbhajan Singh, Javagal Srinath, Zaheer Khan, Dinesh Mongia, Yuvraj Singh and Mohammed Kaif.

Netherlands: Roland Lefebvre (captain), Luuk van Troost, Daan van Bunge, Feiko Kloppenburg, Tim de Leede, Henk Mol, Adeel Raja, Edgar Schiferli, Reinhout Scholte, Jeroen Smits and Bas Zuiderent.

Umpires: Daryl Harper (Australia) and Peter Willey (England). TV umpire: Nadeem Ghauri (Pakistan).

Match Referee: Denis Lindsay (South Africa).
