Bangalore: The national selection committee is meeting here tomorrow to pick the Indian team for the first Test against Australia commencing in the city on October 6, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) sources said.

Pranab Roy, selector from East Zone, has already arrived and the new chairman of the committee Kiran More is slated to come later tonight, the sources said.

Other selectors -- V B Chandrasekhar (South Zone), Yashpal Sharma (North Zone) and Gopal Sharma (Central Zone) and BCCI Secretary S K Nair are arriving tomorrow.

The selectors would watch the final day's proceedings in the four-day practice game between India Seniors and India 'A' being played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium here, which is also the venue of the Test.

Skipper Sourav Ganguly and Coach John Wright are already in the city. Ganguly is leading the India Seniors team, while Wright was seen watching the match from the players' stand in the first three days.
